Corporate Social Responsibility
Our group of institutions recognizes its responsibility towards the society particularly in spreading education and awareness on the issues, which can improve their quality of life.
The deteriorating environmental conditions are a matter of concern and the students promoted the cause of banning the non-degradable polybags and replacing them with eco-friendly bags. The college also prepared 5000 Jute Bags and got them distributed to the general public through Civil Administration to make Panipat ‘Polythene Bag Free’.
The extinction of umpteen biological species is a matter of global concern. The college carried out an education campaign on eco-system management and the important role that can be played by the inhabitants of rural area in protecting the endangered species. Rallies, meetings and lectures were organized in the nearby villages to educate them about climate change and mitigation measures. Importance of maintaining a clean, pollution free environment and adopting appropriate measures was stressed. For this purpose Poster–making and Slogan writing competitions were organized.
The institute is striving to provide Eye Care services to the nearby villages and has set up Lala Nemi Chand Venu Vision Centre in collaboration with Venu eye Centre and research institute, Delhi. Routine eye-check up facilities are provided on-campus. Whereas, in case requiring further investigation or surgery the patients are taken to the main Hospital at Delhi.
The college has also participated in the Blood Donation Camp on October 9, 2010.
NCIT students are constantly encouraged to be compassionate members of the Community. Our Outreach programmes fosters a lifelong commitment to the community service. Youth Red Cross unit provides special services to the society like blood donation camp, Planting trees, spreading awareness in society etc. To Achieve the goal, a blood donation camp has been organized in the Institution to continue its services to society.
Our Institution aims to improve the quality of rural folk. To achieve our goal a visit has been organized by the Youth Red Cross Unit to spread awareness on the female foeticides and students actively participated in the social cause. Various activities like blood donation camp, Making Society Green are other steps to uplift the society.
